Day 13:
Day 13 started as normal, then once C was having her first nap M requested to do some playdoh.  How we made it a whole 13 days without a playdoh session I don't know, but definitely not complaining.

Most of the gap between naps was taken up with filming a Passover Supper/Maundy Thursday video for the church, in the end about a 15 minute video but it took us like 2 hours to film, needing to do a few minutes filming and then take a break and having to refilm some of the segments several times.  They do say never work with children or animals.

It was starting to be nicer again outside too so we spent a decent amount of time in the garden.

Then during C's afternoon nap M had her nails done in the very fancy salon-de-sofa.  It's the second time she's requested/we've attempted to paint her nails but the first time they only lasted about 5 minutes before she decided she didn't like them and insisted on cleaning them off.  So the first successful attempt.  You totally can't see it in the picture but they are pink I swear.

Day 14:
DAY 14!!!!!! We have all survived a whole 2 weeks of isolation, T has been out a grand total of 3 times but the rest of us have been at home for 2 whole weeks.  And it hasn't been that terrible.  I have more sanity left than I was expecting, and M has accepted that she can't go do all the things she wants to do because "they're closed".  Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely looking forward to being allowed out tomorrow, but I'm no longer completely terrified of this lasting a few months.  I have dibsed the trip to Tesco tomorrow and I think we might go over the road and play pooh sticks to get the girls out.

But anyway, to focus on today, the sun is properly back out today so we're making the most of the garden.  This morning M and I made a gymtots-eque obstacle course on the patio with chalk (hopscotch and lines to walk along/jump over etc) and as I write this T and both girls are outside building some kind of fort/tent thing with the patio table and some tarpaulin.  So far the movie count stands at 2 and we've played a lot of happy families.  So I think we're gonna be ok guys.  I really do.

And yes, I am well aware of how over dramatic that sounds as I live in my nice first world, middle class life with my healthy, low risk family.  We've got it so good in comparison to so many others.  But I was genuinely concerned about all our sanity levels when a lockdown was first announced.
There are children in there I swear!
